Literal Insane View of it

Take a moment.

Can you imagine the person who wrote that blaze article?

How must they view the world in order to honestly be come upon by that impression?

Think of how disturbed that author must feel all the time in order to see that their expression is a valid and rational view.

It is very sad. And very concerning.

To call it anything else than a pure kind of insanity, I feel, is to limit what humanity is.

To me, it is nothing dissimilar to have an attitude or world view where sometimes women do deserve to be beaten.

It is a type of sickness. A type of mistake in the way information is handled.

Very sad that people have to suffer like that.

About this blog

Essays in mental health philosophy—less “tips,” more why things work (or don’t). I look at the first principles under therapy, psychiatry, psychology, and everyday life, and occasionally share notes from papers and books-in-progress.

This space stands alongside—not inside—my counseling practice. If you’re seeking therapy in Colorado, there’s a link in the footer.
