Exploring the being of knowing

Should we care about the Truth?

What does it mean to care about the truth?

Does any one know? Does anyone care?

I think no — at least so far as people care about reality as the basis to measure truth.

When you think of the truth, what do you think of?

The truth of someone’s guilt or innocence?

Scientific truth?

Spiritual truth?

Empirical truth?

What is truth?

The act of asking about truth?

Political truth?

That truth is a useless idea? Merely an ideal that creates division?

Let us know in the comments, and let’s start a conversation, maybe we can figure something out that no none has thought of yet.

Come on. Be brave.

About this blog

Essays in mental health philosophy—less “tips,” more why things work (or don’t). I look at the first principles under therapy, psychiatry, psychology, and everyday life, and occasionally share notes from papers and books-in-progress.

This space stands alongside—not inside—my counseling practice. If you’re seeking therapy in Colorado, there’s a link in the footer.
