It started when, ancient greek philosophers, called the pre socratic, were not satisfied with religion and mythology as an answer to big questions. So they went on guessing about the primary cause of the existence of the universe
What about Asian philosophers?
The system of beliefs in Asia is somehow very close to their philosophy, which is about spirituality and oneness with the universe etc.. Unlike the greeks they didn’t go against the mainstream.
