I feel that some of my readers may wish to join me in honoring my daughter.  Marley Joy Prusmack died April 25, 2019 of viral meningitis.  She was 16 1/2 years old.

She is a light in the darkness and a force for positivity and change on the internet and her generation. She had and continues to have an effect for good in many so peoples lives all over the world. As you will find if you search her name.

Here is a tribute edit that someone put together.

Rest in Power Marley Joy !!

Her intelligence, wit and sense of humor is eternal. Coincidentally, strangely and ironically this coffin pin just happened to arrive in the mail yesterday šŸ˜„

About this blog

Essays in mental health philosophy—less ā€œtips,ā€ more why things work (or don’t). I look at the first principles under therapy, psychiatry, psychology, and everyday life, and occasionally share notes from papers and books-in-progress.

This space stands alongside—not inside—my counseling practice. If you’re seeking therapy in Colorado, there’s a link in the footer.
