I wonder if the idea that many Americans uphold about the right to bare arms is becoming a anachronistic ideal in consideration of all the damage and rights abuse or limiting of freedom that can now be accomplished through other means, such as better technology and behavioral and cognitive manipulation through mass digital media and propaganda. At best, it seems, such idealists could hope to accomplish is small local victories of myopic success.
