I am no accountant or economist.
However, some things seems apparent.
All of us live on the planet.
We use money to negotiate our lives.
If we believe everyone should be living because they are living, then what is just is that the more money you have, the more you should be required to pay in taxes. Not volume, but percent.
If you don’t think everyone should live because they are living, then, still, the money you have is due to the number of people doing things that you ignore or take for granted.
For, remove 7 billion people and let’s see if you are still wealthy and get to live the life you feel is so justified in an old kind of equality or even equity.
It is just logistics consistently applied in all categories.
