——- Interesting that I thought the term ‘metaphysics’ referred to something more than what we have to say about it. I’m not sure how there can be a ‘contemporary metaphysics’ and then other ones. Seems to me that’s exactly what’s happening: this issue of metaphysics is itself being viewed and debated. That is contemporary metaphysics: the belief that metaphysics is established through various arguments. The contradiction inherent therein is what brings about a feeling in those involved in the discussion that “something is in the air”.
The belief or orientation upon things which understands agency as a universe manifesting and effective force, and the content of proposals which express that sigular cosmology: metaphysics.x
