Perhaps that’s what the author is really saying: that physical stuff is consciousness is physical stuff is consciousness.

How we are able to view what that sentence says, I think, is more significant that what is allowing for it to be made sense of.

Maybe: The matter is made up of consciousness parts as well as physical parts, and this matter is not different in nature.
