Issues of Change

I wonder if all the political upheaval in the United States current election, but the world as well, really has to do between those people who don’t want anything to change, and those people who embrace change.

Maybe that’s the definition of conservative and liberal ism. Despite all the wonderful intellectual philosophy is in big ideas that everyone has about those names, maybe it just comes down to that most people don’t really like to think very much about anything. Most people just want to have opinions and not really discuss things or have their opinions changed. People just want to drink beer and go water skiing and make a living and have a house and love their children.

But then there are other people who, through a more intellectual engagement with the world, see change everywhere and so advocate a way of living or way of approaching life that adjusts.

And maybe all this has to do with climate.
