The Absurdity of Tool Being: Love in the time of coronavirus?

Along the lines that I’ve been following in my previous posts:

How absurd is it that coronavirus would be picking in choosing that which it “loves”? (The coronavirus “loves” the people that get sick from it, btw.)

And how evil am I, how evil am I viewed to be suggesting that there is any sort of love involved with the seeming “picking in choosing” of the virus?

How many people are deferring these questions to the grand scientific narrative of microbes that have no intentional being?
