Ironically, there is not distinction between the human ability and the universe in which it works.

Our concern as philosophers is how consciousness functions; what the universe may or may not be has nothing to do with what ontological assertions we place upon it, even as we can identify particular consciousnesses functioning in particular ways by evidence of their ontological presence.

And where the introduction to this link speaks in past tense, of would’ve should’ve and could’ve, part of the process of being human is to move between deficit thinking and asset thinking. The woman in the video seems to be thinking and asset terms.

It is not about what luxury future all of us could have. It is about what better future that humanity is already involved with.

There is never another universe.
