Great short explication of capitalism.
And I might add a Kierkegaardian comment: in our regular mundane world we are told that he who works gets the bread. But as everyone knows, just by looking around, this is not always the case. A lot of the time people who don’t work at all the people who end up with the bread. It seems kind of hit or miss whether not we work and get bread.
But then Kierkegaard goes on to say that in the world of the spirit he who works gets the bread every time.
while on a certain level and a certain way of talking I definitely can agree with this maxim, on a more philosophical level, as we find with Heidegger, the spirit now, is destitute.
